Well me and Adam Quinan (all the way from Canada) meet up for S&A chat,
nautical book chat, general chat & coffee and biscuits. He is returning
to Canada with a very heavy suitcase containing some of my surplus S&A
hardbacks!!!!! I will introduce him to Robin Corlett next time he visits.
Robin is the other active TAR on the Island, and very much into real
sailing. By the way, if any TARS every come over to the IoM, please feel free
to send me an e-mail so that we can arrange to meet up.
Should I buy a tatty copy of "Sailing" by E F Knight (1893 I think)
for GBP 2.00 ?? [Visit the Isle of Man for book bargains!!!!!!?]
