I've only been to Canada twice, each time for short bursts of work in Ottawa and Windsor. I loved it; it was very like the USA except that it was infinitely more polite and relaxed. Now I suppose that might become boring after a time, I don't know, but it seems to me to have great virtues.
Personally, I find that London is the only place I'd care to live. Possibly Paris too. But as Johnson said, a man who is tired of London is tired of life.
