A set of all 12 books was sold at the specialist book auctioneers, Dominic Winter, in Gloucestershire, on 13 June. They were all 1st editions, with jackets, in 'excellent condition'. Three of them (SW, ML and PM) were signed by AR. The hammer price was £28,500.

Not bad for a 'redundant' author! One wonders who owned the books, and who bought them. Was it a Tarboarder by any chance? I somehow feel that Tarboarders don't have that sort of money, but the 'Brigadier' might . . .
