Your invitation to a short bio is like asking a Lisper to write a program that replicates itself. In LISP it is 96 words, in Fortran it is 12 pages.

Whilst I make no claims for the elegance of Fortran, I have seen a self-replicating Fortran program about 8 lines long. A large part of it was a single FORMAT statement.
