As a lad, I searched the library for the Ransome books I had not yet read. Now I have a copy of every one in my library and pull one down to read quite often. A quiet devotee.

I'm a brand new entrant to this web-ring and apologise if I am doing this all wrong. But I looked at the latest postings and they seemed to have no relevance to the bliss of AR and the children. Perhaps it's just me.

It seems to me that there are two aspects to our joint interest in an always stunning created world. Yes, our peronal interest in it. My passion has grown, if anything. And also the challenge to recruit new young people to the AR world of the achievement of young people and the deep satisfaction they can gain from that. How splendid for them and how valuable. So what are we doing?

I'm a Mentor for young people in the Year in Industry scheme. They could gain so much more from AR and participating in AR / S&A type achievements.

Am I wrong? I hope not. Please join me and let's open the world of many young people to the values and challenges faced by AR's young people.

Please.

Joe Windsor
