Beckfoot mower was a standard English lawnmower, green with red detail, pushed along with a grass box at the front. One of the biggest producers being Ransomes of Ipswich (one of the founders being an 'A Ransome'!), who started producing mowers in the 1830s and named them along the lines of 'Suffolk Punch' and so on.
What's all this about a bag at the back?
