We read The Dog Crusoe as a class in my final year at primary school (age 10-11). I don't remember much about it except that I don't think I liked it at the time. The main reason I remember that is that in my first year at secondary school we had to write an essay about books we had read recently, and I remember being uncomplimentary about TDC.
