An odd little note for those who are interested in confusing/amusing
regional word usages:

My husband and I were in Hocking County, Ohio (Southern Ohio -- hilly,
full of old-growth forest, and exceptionally beautiful) back in the
summer, and stopped at a small produce stand operated by local gardeners.
We were selecting goodies to put into that night's salad, and one of the
attendants at the stand (or would you Brits say "stall?") recommended
that we buy a "mango" to chop up in the salad. I looked over the
selection of fruits and veggies and could see nothing that resembled
an exotic fruit. I was confused.

The nice man held up a specimen and said, "Here's a pretty one. We just
picked it this morning." He was displaying a green bell pepper! Lord
only knows where this term for a capsicum came from.

I hope this follow-up post is considered "appropriate-ish." I'm still
new, so I'm not sure yet. But it struck me as funny, and I thought
y'all might enjoy it.
