I was thinking last night about how Titty's artistic nature changed throughout the books. In SA and SD, she made up stories- certainly the voodoo incident, but I'm thinking also of 'Titty Alone' in SA, where she switches between being Robinson Crusoe and an able seaman. (She can't go home for tea because the able seaman could not)

As the series goes on, and Dorothea with her story-writing skills appears, Titty changes. In PP, we see her sensitivity, but not as much of the storytelling. y Seret Water, she's become an artist, and is so deeply into her work that the Eels are able to kidnap Bridget.

Titty is, to me, the character who changes most in the series.
