But who are the 'so many'? I have never encountered anyone who 'feels that only one group needs to prevail' on the matter of AR sequels. There has always been a tendency on Tarboard to interpret a post which merely expresses personal negative feelings about a topic as some sort of intolerant fatwa. (I suspect the word 'bully' is not all that far away.) For goodness sake - people like me are simply saying that, for us, sequels are of no interest, as they can never be as good as the real AR. That is our choice. We are not trying to prevent (as if we could) anyone from attempting a sequel. As Prue says, no one is forced to read one. Who are these people - the 'many' - who are annoying Prue? Can she provide names?Are they in New Zealand? She may mean the AR Literary Executors - fair enough, but there's only two of them!
