The AR Connection is (somewhat tenuously) that I didn't have a Susan type about to stop me being ill Jock. Susan did stop Roger having marmalade on pemmican.
Marmalade on pemmican would, nowadays, be treated as an exotic dish in a top London restaurant and sold at £40 per portion by some chef who could claim to reinvented/rediscovered it.
It might be described as compacted beef specially imported from the Argentinean Prairies, sliced to your liking, served with a marinated Sevillian orange jus.
