It's a tasteless white goo, approximating in appearance and viscosity to wall-paper paste, served up in many British homes at Christmas time, in the vain hope that it will enhance any faint flavour which an over- baked turkey might retain. Heaven knows what it's made of - bread perhaps? Whatever.
Pam - you do not need bread sauce in your life, believe me.
