Ok, here's some ideas on how the characters turn out:

Dick, inspired by his successful burglary in PM, turns to a life of
crime, with Dorothea as his moll. (I always thought there was an
unconscious incest fantasy going on between those two, e.g. in GN where
they're looking ahead to living on a boat together). Dick's intelligence
is such that he becomes a latter-day Professor Moriarty.

By an ironic twist of fate, George Owdon, chastened by being caught
casting off boats, has turned straight and is now Inspector Owdon of the
Yard, devoted to tracking down the evil and elusive criminal mastermind
known only as "Big Dick".

Nancy and the Eels have become a group of devil worshippers.

Susan and Peggy are already familiar to British TV viewers as the "Two
Fat Ladies" (TV cooks) famous for their exotic recipes for pemmican in
brandy cream sauce.

Titty has becomes a new age guru and/or voodoo priestess.

Roger, with his witty word-play and undoubted musical talent, and
fondness for stimulants (chocolate as a child) is now a dissolute, aging
folk rock star.

Can't think of anything for John though.

If anyone wants to weave some dialogue around these characters, feel
free.

Happy Christmas to all!
