I agree about Capt. Flint. He was certainly not as I had pictured him. Susan (Suzanna Hamilton) was a bit of a stand-out, as she seemed to be always so much better dressed than the others (Bond Street as against a chain-store set of clothes) It may be significant that she was the only one to continue as an actress into later life.
Titty was very good, but her clothes seemed very poor compared with the general level (Susan left out of this comparison !)
The overall artistic values of the film didn't seem to me to have had any real controlling influence.
I got the impression that the characters were told to "dress in anything you think appropriate" and it was left like that.
