Eating raw fish by Humans would be something like eating sushi.
without the rice.
Raw Seagulls are not as far as I know an ingrediant for Sushi.
So unless you are starving as the sailors were. Seagulls just sound like Yuck!
Incidentally two members of the boat died of starvation I have not heard what happened to their remains.
They were adrift for seven months nobody mentioned scurvey either.
