Somewhere in the mouldering archives is a town guidebook from the early 60s. I'll look for it when I get back in the UK. If I find it and if it proves you're right there's a pint waiting for you for you if you come down on the Wheeltappers farewell trip to the Ram brewery. Otherwise mine will be a pint of 'mixed'.
