I like GN. If I had to choose one I have enjoyed least and wouldn't miss never reading again it would have to be S&A itself, although I realise if that one never existed none of the others would either.

And I like Missee Lee, but because it's in the context of the 1930's. My favourite is Secret Water, because of the map-making - the gradual growth of the explored sections - and the tides, and the mental picture that Titty describes of seeing a centreboard passing above her head whilst standing in the middle of the Red Sea.
