When do blueberries/bilberries ripen there? Perhaps the reason they don't show up in AR the way blackberries do is that they're finished before the summer holidays begin. I know blueberry season precedes blackberry season here. Another factor may be that wild blueberries tend to show up in areas with more acidic soils.
