Hi Geraint - for the kind of Public or Independent Schools S,A,D's would have attended, the accepted latest 'all back by now' date would have been 14th.September. This linked tidily with Cambridge University Michaelmas Term, for example, which started first week in October allowing 'Freshers' to go up early at the end of September. Joe
