I have in front of me a copy of AR's own handwritten notes about the schedule for 1932:
"Summer hols 1932: PP 1st fortnight, WD 4th week of hols, The D's take no part in SW, end of hols. BS end of summer hols 1932."
There is a similar 'Chronology' quoted in The Best of Childhood (p.303) which adds for BS "end September".
PM is set in the first fortnight of Summer hols 1933, as is stated explicitly in the early chapters.
