Does anybody know whether JKR read AR?

The website Quick-Quotes Quill has transcripts of scores of Rowling's interviews. I searched there for 'Ransome' but found no hits.

This puzzled me because I thought I remembered an interview where she commented on the thrill of seeing her first book in print, 'there on the shelf between Ransome and somebody else'. The reference here is simply to alphabetical proximity, rather than any statement about the content of the books.

On further investigation, it turned out that this quote came from the BBC documentary 'Harry Potter and Me', first shown in December 2001. A transcript of this show is present on Quick-Quotes Quill, but Ransome is mistranscribed as 'Ronson'.

A search for 'Swallows' on QQQ finds only two hits, one of which is a reference to the action of the throat, and the other is a reference to S&A by Jeremy Paxman when interviewing JKR on the eve of publication of Order of the Phoenix.

Since she seems to have been a voracious reader, she probably read at least some of AR's books, but unless there are more 'Ronsons' lurking, she doesn't seem to have ever mentioned him as an influence.
