As an expat Brit Living in a former Colony,
I am often asked why so many Brits are moving out here, escpecially to Florida.
My reply is we are re-colonizing by stealth and one day Floridians will wake up one morning with the Queen as head of state.
This is always greeted with amusement and the comment we will always welcome the Brits whatever their dastardly plans.
