Unfortunetly you would not have Hugh Lofting's fantastic illustrations which make the stories complete. Again, back to my favorite subject, the illustrations of a story - imagine Pooh, Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz without the "traditional" visuals. Like Mr. Ransome's illustrations, they round off the entire experience. AND there is nothing like curling up with a fun great book - not a bunch of print outs! Please visit your Local Public Library - they would LOVE to see you!

My Humble Opinion.

Eric Abraham - who is more visual than literal in Kansas (I did know Dorothy at one time!)
