Actually there are some decent beers in the USofA. But, you have to find a good microbrewery - the best thing that ever happened to the American brewing industry. There is a good beer made in Kansas City - "Boulevard". You're right, there is NOTHING that beats a good Guinness - or Pilsner Urquell (not in the same catagories, but both wunnerful!).
