"The only beers he drinks here are Guinness (not as good as over the pond). . . ". Interesting comment. I have noticed a vast difference between the canned Guinness and the bottled stuff. The latter is much stronger, richer and bolder than the canned variety. Perhaps someone can enlighten me whether or not there are different formulae for local (U.K) Guinness and the imported brew. I think possibly the bottled Guinness must be the real thing, and the canned variety made for export only.
