My daughter loved the S & A video but never really took to the books (despite being quite a keen reader). The Lakeland and Broads scenes are attractive (and provide opportunities for playing 'name the place') but they suffer from one of the main defects pointed out by the 'anti-sequelists': even competently professional productions lack the AR magic.
