it was one of the few things salvaged from the residence of T.E. Jolys (LT.-COL.) after the fire that destroyed it in 1957... ...I made that up as well :-)

the graphic is a modified version of the dial centre label from a Post Office Candlestick telephone 150 ( I think ) which was the model used after the Candlestick telephone No 2 when they moved from manual exchanges.
