Peter, I'm not sure that someone being upper class is sufficient reason at all to boo anyone. After all Count Louis Zborowski was upper class and he gave us the biggest model railway in the world. I'm sure that I could find a few other positive examples if I looked hard enough.
A much more interesting (and potentially controversial!) discussion could be had as to whether AR, had or had not, a 'class agenda'. (Remember those beastly sea lords?) Sadly, you and I have already debated this topic, but I bring it up for the sake of our new recruits.
