I thought George Owdon was a couple of years older than the D&G's, so the powers-that-be were more likely to believe him. His handprint is much bigger that any of the D&G's on the 'chimbley'.
Mind you, he does own a bike, unlike any of the D&G's. But I think that's because smaller bikes for children were much rarer then - your first bike was your only bike, you got it when you were almost fully grown.
