not Rattletrap. At least thats not what I think. Mrs Blackett says that she got to Holly Howe with Sammy the policeman but it is not clear how they got to the pole.
As an aside, Sammy has a role in many of the adventures, he pops up in SA, P&M and WH. Cant seem to find a mention in PP or SD at this stage.
With him and Tedder, AR seems to enjoy a police presence in his books.
