Or do you mean amazon.com?

Yes, that is what I meant. I'd read the Tarboard site some time ago and and that told me that I would have to look elsewhere.

I did a computer search at the local library a year ago and for some reason had no joy at all. However, amazon.com have managed to deliver some of the oddest books on occasion. Anyone for 'Macclesfield at War'? Jolly obscure, written by one of my former school teachers- they got hold of it new... 'Low Notes on a High Level' by J.B Priestley, a musical romp and satire on the BBC and the Third Programme (sic) and for which there was a choice of sources, second hand; it was a very cheap book and the copy I got was heavily acidified, all the way through, but perfectly readable.

There are several copies of 'In Aleppo Once' on offer. The trouble is, the cheapest is priced £139 and it heads on up from there.

Must be very desirable. But not quite that desirable, I think.
