Today's Times carries the obituary of John Young (1921-2006) who died on September 17th. The obituary naturally concentrates on his role as Chairman of Young's Brewery in Wandsworth (which sadly is ceasing brewing this week after 400 years) but ignores his AR connection - unless my memory has gone awry, he was one of AR's original Northern River Pirates and was discussed in a Tarboard thread a few months ago (which a quick skim down the list has failed to locate).
