My Motto: "Be Neither a Leader nor a Follower." I like Prue's term - "a lateral thinker" to describe Dick.
We must pick and choose carefully our "Leaders" and where we "Lead" others. I have chosen a more independent (or lateral) path, working WITH a group or going my own direction independently. And, personally, I can attribute this partly to Mr. Ransome's tales -- does this make me a follower? Not necessarily, as there are appropriate times and places to follow or lead and times and places to go in a different direction. I take what I need and file the rest for future reference!
