I still think that Port and Starboard's chase to catch the Teasel is one of Ransome's best bits of writing. And then the surprise aboard the "Welcome of Rochester" of being told that "They calls all sailormen Jack", when you realize they are really off the map! Time to dig out Coot Club and read that part again!
Hard to believe the movie version skipped that completely as well as turning P. and S. into little girls! Grrrr!
