Yes, Jenny, I did get back later on when the sun had risen. Nice view. I don't know the area at all, not having been there, but I suppose the car ferry crosses to somewhere like Bowness, which I believe is on the East bank of the lake ?
There are many large yachts moored over near the far bank too, though I didn't see any of then proceeding under sail. A few moving under motor power though.
No sign of any small dinghys with gaff-rigged sails, unfortunately
