Having just been rereading my S&A books, I was amazed by a coincidence unparalled in my 33 years on this earth. According to my t.v. guide, the 1974 movie of S&A, is being screened on 1/20/99, in my home port of Brisbane, Australia. The video of the same movie was still available about 7 years ago when I borrowed it from my local video shop in Burnie,Tasmania.
I was previously a member of TARS when I lived in Tassie, but let my membership lapse due to the isolation from other members and lack of access to a sailing dinghy. I am very pleasantly surprised to discover that I can get access to other A.R. fans through this avenue.
