This 1:25,000 scale map courtesy Get-a-map from Ordnance
Survey shows the relationship between footpaths and right-
of ways more clearly. It also shows the positions of the earlier
and later (northern) dams across the creek.

Could someone with better local knowledge than mine advise
on when the newer dam was constructed?
