Nothing wrong with vanilla. When I lived in England, a great treat was to have a brick of Wall's vanilla ice cream. I have never tasted any ice cream so creamy and so vanilla-y and so thoroughly delicious. On my last trip to the U.K. I was told that because of something to do with cream vs. milk, that wonerful treat of my childhood was, alas, no longer available, although Wall's ice cream is still sold there.
