That's correct; I don't recall the name of Sam's book, but I have a videotape of the movie of 'Riddle' It starred Simon McCorkindale as Davies, Michael York as Carruthers and a delicious Jenny Agutter as the villain's daughter. The movie stays right on track with the book and I found it a cracking good yarn.
