I always suspected that Jemmerling was based on a particular individual, although when asked Christina Hardyment thought may be not. It is just that the decription is very precise and the drawings - one of the few with a clear face to be seen) - have a lot of details you don't get about many of the other characters. What do people think and have they any ideas?
