According to the Unilever website, people did not buy Richard Wall’s pork pies in May, June, July & August because the name of the month did not have “R” in it (not because of the hot weather?). So he started making ice cream as well!
Unilever have “Streets” ice cream in New Zealand. The “Streets” brand was started in Australia, by Ted Street who made ice cream in his back shed in Corrimal NSW. But I was used to Tip Top, made in Wellington. But the (Johnsonville) site of the Tip Top factory is now a Woolworths supermarket.
