Once on the BBC.co.uk I did a search on ARTHUR RANSOME and it produced quite an assortment of Ransome related items. All this calls for additional browsing in this area. Let's us see what we can find... by Ed Kiser

Took up your challenge and found that Swallows & Amazons was number 57 in the top 200 books, as voted for in April 2003. I remember this poll, and voted for Catch-22 as my absolute favourite book, which ended up at number 11. Lord of the Rings was number 1 - which wouldn't even make my top 200.
