Where is John N when we need him? In the old days he would answer
such questions by posting half of the OED. TarBoarders with
slow Internet connections would grumble, and TarBoard lawyers
would raise an eyebrow, but he gave us the definitive answers.
I wonder if John is "lurking" or is just too busy these days to post.
