There is to be more information about the future of the Museum in next month's Signals.

Given the importance of the Windermere Steamboat Museum in preserving and displaying
some of the key artefacts relating to the SA canon, I am amazed at the paucity of information
posted on this matter on Tarboard.

Here are the links to what little that I have been able to find:

But this only seems to give one side of the story. I read a lot about "saving" and "conservation",
nothing at all about why this living museum of working boats came to grief, next to nothing
as to whether the plans are for the boats to become "stuffed" exhibits or maintained as working
vessels, and finally, nothing at all about what will happen to Mavis and other AR related
non-steamboat exhibits.

I appeal to all TarBoard enginefolk and boiler washers, surely someone out there must know
something?
