I wonder if the reason so many of us "occasional posters" do so much lurking is that over the past 10 years or more whilst the threads have increased greatly in quantity (and length) - they do not seem to have achieved quite the same increase in quality - and on the relatively rare occasion that I do nowadays feel the inclination to submit a post I usually manage to restrain myself by acknowedging that my literary efforts would most likely serve to accelerate that trend.

If you want to know more about the Windermere Steamboat Museum I would suggest you have alook at the Lakeland Arts Trust Website. LAT is an excellent organization and imho we are most fortunate that they are involved, It may not escape your attention that TARS is closely involved with LAT already - at Abbot Hall.
