Maybe. On the other hand we fairly regularly have people initiating new threads rather than posting on the existing thread on which they are commenting. Sort of the inverse of topics wandering off subject. The former might be restrained by a sub-board structure but at the expense of defeating the most recent posts facility board-wide which many use (and which may be the proximate cause of the new threads problem). I don't see how the latter could be avoided even with sub-boards without a lot of extra policing by our Estemed Boardmaster.
