Having just finished a 4000 word essay on the S&A characters as part of my MA in Children's Literature it occurred to me that there are various authors who claim -or show in their writings - to have been influenced by AR. For example, Monica Edwards, who died early last year, wrote books which not only quoted AR but also had two particular locations (as AR did with the Lakes and the Broads). There was even a bit of a nautical theme in one of the locations.
Can anyone suggest others (and, hopefully, provide a bit of evidence)?
