I am sure Ed can come with a list of his travels.

What Ed so often helps us with is a search through all the books for a specific word, or for any of a short list of specified words. I don't see how Ed, or anyone, could use this technique to find all references to places Captain Flint had visited.

Some of the main sources of clues to his travels are places where the interior of the houseboat is described. If I remember correctly, this means S&A when he receives John's visit; possibly S&A again, for the battle; WH for the Fram; and PM for the 'stinks'.

Then there's S&A again when the trunk is unearthed, and possibly PP for mining stories (though maybe the only place mentioned in that context is Pernambuco).
