Further to John's list of places that the trunk has been plus other references, perhaps we ought to add Australia (boomerang and cracked emu's egg) and possibly North Africa (gourds) both from the clearing up of the mess left by the burgulars in SA.

We know from the note that he left in the camp, in SA, that his christian name was James. Therefore JT could be his initials as well as possibly being those of his father.
