UHT milk

Yes, UHT had a definite flavour Prue, didn't it? I used always to take it camping. (Still would if I still camped.) But the flavour of today's UHT seems to be indistinguishable from normal milk these days, and we always keep a carton of UHT in the pantry for emergency use if required.

What I miss most about today's milk is the lack of cream on top, because of the fact that they insist on "homogenising" the darn stuff. As a result, clotted cream has become a dim memory. Oh, for the days when as kids we used to wander into next-door's dairy and come back with a billy full of milk still warm from the cow....
